My first update is here for Life After The Living.
There's a bunch of content being added. I've pushed back the increase to the world size for now. I'd like to focus one what's already built in game before expanding on anything else. I have added Ranger outposts to the game to help the player with dehydration in game. I've listed a few more features being added below.
The player hideout at the beginning of the game has been increased in size, it also comes equipped with several new much needed tutorials to better explain what can be done in game. Also a water reservoir that collects rain water and converts it into drinking water for the player has been added. It's a low maintenance addition that will give the player a little extra water every day to help fight thirst and better prepare you to search the city before leaving for the wilderness to explore. A similar way to get extra food is planned for a future update.
There is a new piece of gear coming this update as well. The Canteen will be available at the players hideout from the beginning of the game. The player will be able to fill it from the wilderness water reservoirs as well as from the reservoir at your hideout.
Numerous bug fixes have been completed before this update including the doors inside the residential houses opening inward now instead of outward. There was a small issue with some players getting stuck when the doors opened outward. Text has been added to the HUD when players approach doors to tell them if the door is locked or not and also if the door can be interacted with or not. A small tutorial glitch at the start of the game was fixed as well. I'm sure there's more but those were the ones that stood out to me. I'll post another blog ASAP to inform everyone what to expect in the next update.
Thanks for your continued support

We are fast approaching our first update for Life After The Living and things are moving along well. The Update is still on schedule for early September release. Some new game features will include Outpost towers that players will find in the wilderness. The Outposts will have water supplies to help players once they decide to move to the wilderness and begin exploring out there.
I've also added a water reservoir to the players hideout at the beginning of the game that will collect rain water over time. Players will be able to drink from or fill their canteens with the water it collects.
The Canteen has been added to hold the water found at reservoirs. It's simple the canteen holds 5 drinks for the player and they can refill it at any wilderness outpost or their hideout if the reservoir has enough water in it. These new additions to the game should reduce panic when the player is low on drinks in their inventory. I've added some extra tutorials to the beginning of the game as well. Before you leave to explore make sure to look around and learn as much as possible. I'll add a full recap in September just before I update the game of all the new additions.
Thanks for everyone's continued support.

My PC Game "Life After The Living" is finally on Steam's Early Access. It's been 11 Months of development so far and probably another 12-18 months to go. I'll be posting a Development Blog to showcase any updates or Patches for the game before I send them to Steam. I'll also add some video to Youtube of the updates that are coming to Steam. You can expect game Patches/Updates every 4-6 weeks with the first update coming in the beginning of September this year. The game to this point is a Zombie First Person Shooter/Survival Game with some RPG elements. It takes place in a post apocalyptic zombie infested world. The goal for now is to survive against the zombies while searching for food, water, ammo and other supplies to survive. There is currently over 40 Objectives to complete in the Player Journal. The map is quite large already with plans on expanding even more later in development. Animals will also be introduced to the game at some point both zombie and none zombie. Player Journal will grow substantially with more objectives to complete as well there will be more enemy types added as the game enters the final stages of development.
Next Post is coming at the end of August to preview new content.
